Oh, What A Night

The excitement in Austin Tuesday night ignited the internet. YouTube was streaming, the crowd took control, everyone was shouting & tweeting and journalism( i.e. The Texas Tribune, Erica Gieder) was popping up everywhere. I checked in for the last 4 hours and was mesmerized.

Wendy Davis, the Travis County Tsunami, hit the Austin Statehouse with a wave of public support that destroyed the aging GOP infrastructure. She soldiered on for more than 11 hours, then her colleagues and the crowd stepped up to put an exclamation mark on it and close the deal. Oh, what a night.

There’s more fight in the American people, than there is money in the Koch brother’s vaults. Even though Corporate power grabbers can make their way deep into our business, when they get there, they find that they’re surrounded.
