Separation of Church and State

Any religion, Christianity Islam, Judaism, Shintoism, Hinduism, that allows its faith to be hijacked for political purposes, ceases to be a vehicle of faith and becomes a political tool.

Under our Constitution, the volatile combination of faith and politics is predicted and not allowed. The fact that we have become sloppy with the boundaries of Church and State has lead us to our current impasse. Our social conflicts and political malaise are, predictably, self-inflicted and will continue until we separate the agendas of religion and government.
