Erin Burnett, addressing an opinion @JoeNBC expressed about high priced NY restaurants thriving, matter of factly explained; ” they’re linked to Wall Street… this (is the) whole tale of two totally different economies”.
Her casual reference to a fundamental force diving politics and the economy was a little surprising. There are two different economies and there’s a widening gap between to two. Joe acted like it was something he hadn’t noticed until that moment.
Joe still calls himself a ‘Capitalist’ & ‘Conservative’ but I don’t think he knows why any more. He always goes back to 1995, when he entered Congress as a Freshman Rep, full of confidence and opinion. He’s also aware the confidence has faded to lip sync and auto-response, one dimensional, uninspired conversation. He’s becoming irrelevant in his own mind.
